Background
Sylvie (YenTing) Lin is a Taiwanese artist and illustrator based in Switzerland. With a background in visual arts, her artistic practice is rooted in traditional Chinese ink painting, watercolor, and illustration. Inspired by everyday life, nature, and the cultural experiences of living between Taiwan and Europe, she explores the beauty of ordinary moments through delicate brushwork, vibrant colors, and visual storytelling.
Experience
With several years of experience as an artist and art instructor, Sylvie (YenTing) has taught painting and creative workshops to both children and adults. From 2019 to 2023, she ran Chia Biao Café in Taipei, where she combined her passion for art, coffee, and creative education. Since 2025, she has been teaching traditional Chinese ink painting at the Zurich Chinese Language School, introducing young students to Chinese art and culture while encouraging individual creativity and artistic expression.
